Founder and Managing Partner

Jeffrey B. Mendell possesses over 50 years of real estate development and investment experience. Through various positions at top firms, including Citicorp, Chase Enterprises, Jones Lang and National Realty Development Corp, Mr. Mendell has overseen nearly 30 million square feet of office, residential and retail developments.

As the Managing Partner of JBM Realty, Mr. Mendell has spearheaded the development of multiple real estate projects including:

  • Greenwich Shore Apartments Greenwich, CT
  • 330 Railroad Avenue Greenwich, CT
  • The Summit Club Armonk, NY
  • Lauderdale Lofts Providence, RI
  • Main Street Lofts Stamford, CT


Past projects also include the sale of a 1 million square foot shopping center in Middletown, NY, the development and sale of a 900-unit urban redevelopment project in Hoboken, NJ.

Mr. Mendell is a graduate of The Wharton School of Finance & Commerce at the University of Pennsylvania, a licensed real estate broker in New York, and serves on the Board of the ONS Foundation in Greenwich, CT.

Jason B. Mendell joins JBM Realty as a Principal after 10+ years working in Real Estate Capital Markets.

Prior to joining JBM Realty, Jason served as a Managing Director at Greystone – a privately held commercial real estate finance and investment company with expertise in the debt, equity, investment sales and loan servicing spaces. At Greystone he focused on loan origination through Greystone’s Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and HUD platforms. Before moving to Greystone, Jason was a VP at Wells Fargo Bank – first in Real Estate Capital Markets (RECM) in the Large Loan Group specializing in both portfolio and securitization lending products and then in Commercial Real Estate’s (CRE) Multifamily Capital Group specializing in loan origination through Wells Fargo’s Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac lending platforms.

Jason graduated from Wesleyan University with a degree in Economics where he was a 2-time captain of the Men’s Basketball Team. He holds a Master’s Degree from the NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate with a concentration in Finance & Investment.
